Daily Boost Summer Challenge
Leicestershire and Rutland Sport would like to announce that this summer we will be running a Daily Boost Summer Challenge.
The challenge will commence on the Monday 27th July for 4 weeks ending on Friday 21st August 2020.
We had an outstanding response to our Virtual School Games Summer Championship, seeing 3000 children enjoying getting active during this very challenging time and would like to offer children the opportunity to stay active through the holidays, with this new exciting challenge.
The Challenge is open to all children and young people across Leicestershire, Leicester City and Rutland.
We are also working with Holiday Club providers and Schools to promote the challenge in a group setting, observing social distancing regulations.
You will be able to complete our Fun interactive score sheet on a weekly basis and achieve each of the Daily Boost milestones of 250,500,750 & 1000 minutes of activity.
Earn your boost points by completing any activity of your choice for 15 minutes, or 5 minutes x 3 activities per day .
There will be a theme for each of the 4 weeks to give you some ideas, but most importantly we just want you to have some fun.
Zoom our mascot will be sharing ideas for you to try on social media.
Submit your completed score card and you will receive your bands. Once you have achieved 1000 minutes of activity, you can keep going as you will be entered into our prize draw to win £50 voucher to spend on Sports related goods.
We will also be giving a spot prize every week, for great pictures and engagement.
In addition, there will be a top prize for the school that achieves the most amount of total minutes and the same for the Holiday Clubs.
